H4H 4X4 European Rally 2012

The Big Rally Challenge is the name of our 4x4 in the Help for Heroes 4x4 European Rally. We are 2 friends, travelling 6 Countries on 1 Big Adventure in aid of Help for Heroes to raise money to go towards the care of injured soldiers returning from Afghanistan, some of whom will have huge obsticles to overcome on their return.
Last year the rally raised over £150,000 for Help for Heroes and over 1/4 of a million over the last 2 years, and after taking part in the adventures last year and seeing the massive amounts raised for such a worthwhile cause, we decided to risk our friendship, mental health and well-being and lock ourselves in a 4x4 together again and raise even more money for this amazing charity. We are aiming to beat our total from last year andthen some!!!
Hopefully what we raise here will go a little towards giving a helping hand and saying thank you to all those who have come back from what has sometimes been a traumatic and life changing tour of duty.
We will be setting off from Wiltshire on 16 June 2012 and travelling across the Sailabury Plains before heading to Portsmouth to embark on the ferry to France... Where the adventure begins!
Please give what you can and show our guys and girls that we care and no matter how we feel about them being out there, they are there and we support them!

About Help for Heroes
Help for Heroes offers comprehensive support to those who have suffered life-changing injuries and illnesses whilst serving our country. This is provided through grants to individuals, other Service charities, capital build projects and our four Recovery Centres across the UK, in Catterick, Colchester, Tidworth and Plymouth. These will offer support for life. The money raised by the hugely generous public has been used to support our wounded, but there is still so much more to do. Soldiers, sailors and airmen who are injured today will still need our support tomorrow and in the days that follow, for the rest of their lives. They are still battling and we won't let them battle alone.
