Scotty’s Little Soldiers
Hello and Welcome from Gavin Shelton
Ladies & Gents,
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
Please support me to support the children of Forces heroes. Losing your family is hard at the best of times, but imagine what it feels like to lose your mum or dad when they are away from home looking after other people's welfare. These kids deserve to smile again, and Scotty's Little Soldiers has been set-up for that very reason. Nikki and the guys do an amazing job, some of them having to deal with the loss of a husband/wife and their children's father/mother themselves. Your donation to this event makes their job easier and thoroughly rewarding. So please help this amazing cause!
Donating through this page is simple, quick and secure. It is the most efficient way to give – so every donation goes further – and if you are a UK taxpayer and give Gift Aid consent you will boost your donation.
Thank you for your support.

About Scotty’s Little Soldiers
Scotty’s Little Soldiers is dedicated to supporting the children of men and women killed in action while serving with the British Armed Forces.
The charity provides treats, trips and activities for families of the fallen with the aim of offering a respite – however brief - from the daily ups and downs of coping without a loved one. Inspired by the experience of army widow, Nikki Scott, the charity honours husband Corporal Lee ‘Scotty’ Scott’s memory – both as a loyal soldier and a loving father – and provides a practical yet personal way for the public at large to show their appreciation for those brave individuals who make the ultimate sacrifice in the service of their country. Funds for the charity are raised through events, donations, merchandising and corporate sponsorships. Children receive letters, cards, gifts, tickets for events and even fees for local sports or activities. Our long term aim has been to purchase holiday homes for the families to use and in summer 2012 with your help, we purchased the first of these Scotty Lodges in Great Yarmouth. Thank you for choosing to support Scotty’s, we may not be able to thank our fallen heroes personally for making the ultimate sacrifice but together we can help their children smile again.
