Hello and Welcome from Three Peaks Challenge 2012

In July 2012 I will be taking part in the National Three Peaks Challenge. Despite being well over 40 and slightly overweight I will be climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in a 24 hour period across 28th July/29th July.

All funds raised will go towards H4H and with your help I am hoping to get well into four figures.

Originally, the travel and support team should have been organised by Ewan Cameron of Evolution Outdoors Ltd, however he has let us down twice due to his administration errors and I am now doing the challenge as a solo project, making an already tough challenge that little bit more difficult.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through this page is simple, quick and secure. It is the most efficient way to give – so every donation goes further – and if you are a UK taxpayer and give Gift Aid consent you will boost your donation.

Thank you for your support.

Best wishes,

Paul

**BREAKING NEWS - 24th November 2011**

A stunningly generous donation from Stephen Burt at www.flywithaspitfire.co.uk means that every sponsorship of £10.00 or more for my Three Peaks Challenge 2012 will be entered into a prize draw to win a GOLD SPITFIRE SORTIE EXPERIENCE worth £399.00 (details are here).

I'd also like to mention the Kent & Sussex History Forum for the support shown by them - visit them at http://sussexhistoryforum.co.uk/index.php

**BREAKING NEWS - January 2012**

Vista Leisure of Dover & Deal have kindly supplied Gym Membership and a Personal Trainer to oversee my preparations.

**NEWS - June 2012 Dover Tattoo**

A big day for promoting Help for Heroes, we had a stall selling H4H merchandise, wristbands and collecting donations. We took £134.49 on merchandise, £198.00 on wristbands and £59.38 on bucket donations, making a total of £391.87 on the day!

Thank you to everyone that supported us and H4H

Welcome to Ellie Beer of Finishing Touches who has agreed to organise a Ladies Pamper Evening on July 12th at the Pines Calyx in St. Margaret's Bay in Kent. The evening starts at 19:00 so if you're after an evening of pampering girls, please pay us a visit!

And what a brilliant evening it was! £415.97 was raised on the evening, along with a few further merchandise sales and wristbands sold. Thank you so much Ellie for all your help!

CHALLENGE COMPLETED

Having started out at the base of Ben Nevis at 04:30 on Saturday July 28th, I finished Snowdon at 02:30 on Sunday 29th July - 22 hours exactly!

About Help for Heroes

Help for Heroes offers comprehensive support to those who have suffered life-changing injuries and illnesses whilst serving our country. This is provided through grants to individuals, other Service charities, capital build projects and our four Recovery Centres across the UK, in Catterick, Colchester, Tidworth and Plymouth. These will offer support for life. The money raised by the hugely generous public has been used to support our wounded, but there is still so much more to do. Soldiers, sailors and airmen who are injured today will still need our support tomorrow and in the days that follow, for the rest of their lives. They are still battling and we won't let them battle alone.
