When You Wish Upon A Star
Hello and Welcome from LDC Nottingham - Tour De LDC
Welcome to the LDC Nottingham Team's Tour de LDC page.
The cycling machines that are Matthew Norrington and John Garner are raising sponsorship for When You Wish Upon A Star!
They are taking part in the Tour de LDC which is a 15 day, 200 cyclist, 1,100 mile cycle relay from Land's End to John O'Groats, starting on the 5th June and ending on the 19th June 2010. Matt and John will be cycling the Birmingham to Nottingham route as path
finders for the rest of the peloton!

About When You Wish Upon A Star
When You Wish Upon a Star is a charity dedicated to granting the Wishes of children aged 2-16 years, from across the UK, all of whom are suffering from life threatening illnesses. Over the past 18 years we have granted over 14,000 Wishes of the most incredibly brave and courageous children. All children have Wishes but for these children their Wish provides the opportunity to escape daily routines of hospital and doctors appointments as their special Wish becomes a reality. Wishes are often varied and far reaching, to meet a favourite pop star or celebrity, to swim with dolphins in Florida and meet their favourite characters or even to be a princess or soldier for the day. Every December we also take hundreds of children on a magical trip of a lifetime to meet the real Father Christmas in Lapland. Whatever the Wish wherever possible When You Wish Upon a Star will aim to make that Wish come true, creating an unforgettable experience and precious memories for the whole family which will last a lifetime.
