Help for Heroes
London Marathon 2011
Hi my name is Mel Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
Please feel free to support and visit me to see how my training is going. I am currently on my second week of training for the London Marathon 2011 17th April and also the Brighton Marathon which I will be running the week before on the 10th April 2011. Having
run the London Marathon twice before I know this is a fantastic opportunity to raise funds, support and awearness for all charities; and running for help for heroes is something that i am deeply passionate about and this will keep me on the roads on those
cold and frosty mornings and later those hot and sticky days. So keep watching for my latest progress and keep me motivated with your donations.
Donating through this page is simple, quick and secure. It is the most efficient way to give – so every donation goes further – and if you are a UK taxpayer and give Gift Aid consent the charity will receive an extra 28% at no cost to you.
Thank you for your support Mel.
Thankyou to everyone who has supported me so far! Training is going well, looking forward to first marathon.

About Help for Heroes
Help for Heroes offers comprehensive support to those who have suffered life-changing injuries and illnesses whilst serving our country. This is provided through grants to individuals, other Service charities, capital build projects and our four Recovery Centres across the UK, in Catterick, Colchester, Tidworth and Plymouth. These will offer support for life. The money raised by the hugely generous public has been used to support our wounded, but there is still so much more to do. Soldiers, sailors and airmen who are injured today will still need our support tomorrow and in the days that follow, for the rest of their lives. They are still battling and we won't let them battle alone.
