Help for Heroes
Hello and thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
My name is Robert Crabtree and I am 26 years old and have lived in Swansea ll my life. I come from a football background mainly but fell in love with triathlon 2 years ago, and have decided to enter for the big one, the toughest one day endurance event in the world………………Ironman! And in my home country of Wales no less! This will be held on September 16th 2012 in Tenby, Pembrokeshire.
Anyway, Help for Heroes is a charity that I have always felt strongly for and have donated to in the past. I feel the team do an excellent job and millions of people around the world work hard in order to raise as much money for the brave service men and women of our Armed Forces who have been injured.
Being as I was undertaking a big challenge I have decided that someone should benefit from it, and who better than our service men and women.
Please help me raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity!
You can follow my training updates on twitter @Trirob249 and keep up do date with any new information on my blog.
Please have faith in me, and donate as much as you are able to afford, its an amazing cause and I want to be part of this outstanding team raising money for these truly inspirational individuals of our Armed Forces!
Thank you!! I’ll see you in Tenby on September 16th J
NOTE: Donating through this page is simple, quick and secure. It is the most efficient way to give – so every donation goes further – and if you are a UK taxpayer and give Gift Aid consent you will boost your donation.
Thank you for your support.

About Help for Heroes
Help for Heroes offers comprehensive support to those who have suffered life-changing injuries and illnesses whilst serving our country. This is provided through grants to individuals, other Service charities, capital build projects and our four Recovery Centres across the UK, in Catterick, Colchester, Tidworth and Plymouth. These will offer support for life. The money raised by the hugely generous public has been used to support our wounded, but there is still so much more to do. Soldiers, sailors and airmen who are injured today will still need our support tomorrow and in the days that follow, for the rest of their lives. They are still battling and we won't let them battle alone.
