A message from Mental Health Foundation
The Mental Health Foundation works for everyone’s mental health; helping people survive, recover from and prevent mental health problems. We bring together teams that undertake research, develop services, design training, influence policy and raise public awareness. We provide high quality information, publications, training materials and online services for statutory, voluntary and community organisations, and for the general public. We also work to influence policy development, including Government at the highest levels. And we use our knowledge to raise awareness and to help tackle stigma attached to mental illness and learning disabilities. We reach millions of people every year through our media work, information and online services. The Mental Health Foundation incorporates the Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities. £25 pays for 100 information leaflets on specific mental health problems to be sent to a school or a GP’s practice
£50 pays for the cost of a service user taking part in our research for half a day
£100 pays for the weekly maintenance of the information and help section of our website to help people with mental health problems and their families
£500 pays for 100 delegate briefing packs for events to bring together MPs, funders of mental health services and professionals who work with people with mental health problems
