Online fundraising

Last year I walked the Walk for the first time and had such a good time (up to about 18 miles anyway!!) I've decided to try again in 2007 and raise even more cash to help fight Breast Cancer.

My mother, Doreen, died in April 2005 aged just 55.   She battled her cancer with bravery and courage to the end but was diagnosed too late for the doctors to save her.   Luckily her sister, Joan, who was also diagnosed not long after Mum, caught hers in good time and she continues to live a full and energetic life.

Please help me to raise as much money as possible to support the vital being undertaken to stop this disease taking even more of our loved ones before their time.   Whatever you can afford, it all helps to save lives.

And if anyone wants to help train me, please get in touch as last year my training was pathetic - and it showed!!!

Thanks in advance for your support.

David

We work with Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Penny Brohn Cancer Care, Maggies Centers, Breast Cancer Institute Edinburgh and we are also working with the NHS to put scalp coolers into hospitals.

How can you help?
We don't receive any grants or funds from the government, lottery or anyone else...all our fundraising is from all the wonderful women and men pounding the pavements all over the world. So if you are reading this then first of all make sure you donate to this walker! Once you've done that, why not come and be one of our volunteers - it's just as rewarding (and hard!) as taking part in a marathon!
