Online fundraising

Hello!

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

As it's nearly Father's Day, We're raising money to help thousands of Fathers, Brothers, Sons, Cousins, Uncles friends and Grandads who have been or will be diagnosed with a male cancer. We've chosen Orchid; the only UK registered cancer charity to focus entirely on the male-specific cancers, to recieve all the money we raise during this month.

We hope that with a little help from you, we can give all these people a Father's Day gift they'll never forget.

We've got loads going on this month, from fun Competitions where you could win loads of prizes to our very own 'Wear Your Pants to Work Day' taking place on Friday 19th of June. You can even help raise money by buying a box of badges to sell.

We'd love it if you would donate some money to this very worthwhile cause, anything you can spare would be amazing. But if you really can't give, why not take part? Enter one of our Competitions, or join us in our 'Wear Your Pants to Work Day' and get people to sponsor you. Don't forget we'd love to see the results (email kat @ Prezzybox (dot) com)

Everybody knows a man. Whether he's your family, or a dear friend, old or young; Cancer doesn't discriminate. Help us to give these men a Father's Day gift that will really matter.

Thank you once again for visiting our fundraising page.

Donating through this page is simple, quick and secure. It is the most efficient way to give – so every donation goes further – and if you are a UK taxpayer and give Gift Aid consent the charity will receive an extra 28% at no cost to you.

Whether you can make a small donation or simply take part, From all at Prezzybox and Orchid, Thank You.

A message from Orchid Cancer

Orchid exists to save men's lives from testicular, prostate and penile cancers through pioneering research and promoting awareness.

37,000 men will be diagnosed with a male specific cancer this year.

Orchid Events – Why not run a marathon or 10k for us, cycle through Essex or from London to Paris, trek to Kilimanjaro, join in our flagship Men in Pants walk, jump out of a plane or simply organise a BBQ on our behalf. Whatever you decide to do, we’ll support you every step of the way. Orchid run

Other ways to get involved - support our Checked Out campaign and buy our ribbon pin badge. Engage your company through corporate fundraising, or help us to build links with trusts and charitable organisations. Why not make a donation or set up a standing order. Orchid

About Men’s Cancer - Incidence of male-specific cancers is growing yet still too little is known about them; their causes, treatments available and most important how to recognise early signs. As with most cancers, male-specific cancers are easier to treat if diagnosed early. Men should not die because of ignorance or embarrassment. About Men's Cancer

Awareness – Orchid’s ‘Know Your Balls – Check’ Em Out’ DVD won an Excellence in Oncology Award from Pfizer and the British Oncological Association in 2007, and has now been distributed free to every school in the UK with boys aged 15-16. Watch the film. Know your balls

Research – Orchid funded research has resulted in better treatment for male cancer patients as well as offering significant potential for improving their survival and quality of life. Find out more about our research programmes. Research

The difference your donation could make:

Every £1 raised gets us nearer to our goal of saving men’s lives. We hope that this shopping list will give you an idea of how we use the funds raised by our supporters to fight male cancer.

£5        -           could supply 50 public awareness leaflets to hospitals, clinics, doctor’s surgeries, health centres or specialist cancer support groups – increasing awareness which is proven to save lives and the quality of life after diagnosis

£15       -           could provide a testicular cancer DVD resource pack for a school nurse, health centre, prison or youth club – reaching more than 500 boys over 5 years – saving at least one life

£50       -           could provide 2 month’s supply of pipettes, essential for laboratory tests for cell culture funded by Orchid

£100     -           could pay for the costs of an Orchid speaker giving a life saving lecture on male cancer – we want to go further afield, more often!

Thank you for your support.    www.orchid-cancer.org.uk
