“Once a Marine always a Marine”

I will be taking part in a half marathon speed march around London on the 7th November 2009 with a group of ex Royal Marines, now working in Police Forces across the UK. This is to raise money to assist the now many Royal Marines who have received life changing injuries as a result of the conflicts around the world.
Your donations will go a long way in assisting many brave 'Bootnecks' in receiving quality treatment and rehabilitation .
We are also attempting to raise as much as possible to purchase the specialist equipment necessary to enable the 60+ (now paraplegic) Royal Marines to train and compete in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Paralympics and the 2012 Paralympics.
They have given much for our country…Please give what you can...It is very much appreciated.

A message from The Royal Marines Association

WHY SHOULD YOU DONATE TO THE RMA?

The RMA supports the wider Corps Family from cradle to grave in the following manner:

* Mentors for every Recruit Troop undergoing the famous arduous commando training.
* Royal Marines and their families as they undertake operations in Afghanistan and elsewhere.
* Families of Royal Marines killed in action.
* Visits and financial assistance for the wounded and their families.
* Significant welfare for Royal Marines veterans and their families.
* Morale boosting parades and reunions for young and old to meet.

Our aim is to raise £50,000 this year to support a study into a Respite Holiday Hotel where young marines and veterans with families can take a well earned rest. This is for people who cannot normally afford such luxuries.
