The Royal Marines Association ...
Hello and Welcome from Ashley Tyrrell
Commando 999
A note from Ash,
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
You much valued donation, whether it's £1 or £100 is simple, quick and secure.
It is the most efficient way to give, and if you are a UK taxpayer please add give Gift Aid consent as Commando 999 will receive an extra 25% at no cost to you.
I served the majority of my career in 40 Cdo RM, Taunton. The commando unit in Afghanistan last year, as we are sadly hearing all too often in the news. We lost 14 heroes last year.
3 Cdo Bde RM - the remainder of the Royal Marines have deployed there this year.
I will be one of over 100 former Royal Marines taking part in a half or full mile marathon as a booted speed march through the streets of London, in November.
Thank you again for your support. See you in November!!
Ash Tyrrell
P.S. you do not have to give £25.00 (it's the default amount) - please just donate whatever you want.....

About The Royal Marines Association (RMA)
Dear Friends, thank you for coming to the Royal Marines Association Fund Raising page. Our aim is to support all Royal Marines, serving and retired and their families with camaraderie, esprit de corps and events that both commemorate those who have lost their lives in the service of their country and bring old friends together in a special atmosphere. We call this the "hand of friendship". Clearly the current war in Afghanistan is creating a huge demand on our time and resources for the future, but it is important to ensure that those who suffered in earlier conflicts are equally well looked after.
Each year we aim to raise £120,000 to carry out this vital work and ensure that the Royal Marines Family can support itself without relying on the State. We cannot thank you enough for considering to support us. Every penny goes to looking after the welfare of Royal Marines and their families. The pictures below are excellent examples of those we support from cadets to elderly veterans.
