KEEN London provides recreational opportunities for children with special needs and their siblings from across Greater London. KEEN London participants are find it difficult access mainstream sport and leisure activities because of a physical, learning or behavioural disability. Via one-to-one support from trained volunteers (coaches), children with disabilities (athletes) who participate in KEEN activities develop new physical and social skills and establish relationships with a diverse group of children and adults, both with and without disability. We run two sessions on a Sunday for approximately 35 children. We also have "out and about" trips to ice skating, bowling, trampolining, swimming and our annual Picnic and Christmas party.
