Hello and Welcome from FAN Chintzia Mills
The Chintzia Mills Memorial Fund
6th June 2007- 22nd June 2010 Chintzia was a fun loving cheeky little girl who loved life to the full. Chintzia was very bright and caring and attracted people of all ages to her where ever she went, she had a big personality and with her big beaming smile and beautiful big brown eyes, everybody who came in contact with her just fell in love with, she had a special kind of magic about her. Even when Chintzia was going through all her treatments, she always had a smile on her face and didn’t ever complain it was getting her down. She would always bounce back with amazing courage. Chintzia was diagnosed with stage 4 MYC-N Neuroblastoma when she was 2.½ years old, and spent nearly 6 months in and out of hospital. The time we had at home and not having any treatment, Chintzia always wanted to be out and about, she loved going to the park and the local duck pond, and playing with her friends. In June 2010 just after her 3rd birthday, Chintzia relapsed just 6 weeks after having the tumour removed from her tummy, she deteriorated very quickly over the next couple of weeks, and fell asleep peacefully in my arms surrounded in love. Chintzia was truly amazing and an inspiration to everyone who knew and loved her. I was very proud that she was daughter, her love and kindness was endless in all that she did. Chintzia has left a huge crater in my life, and I thank her for being my big girl, and enjoyed the 3 very precious years we had together. Life will never be the same without her sunshine. I know Chintzia wouldn’t want me to be sad, she would want me to fight on and do what ever I could to help other children in this situation and so it is my wish that I honour Chintzia's memory by creating a memorial fund in her name that can be used, through Families Against Neuroblastoma, to offer other children and families the support they need to get through Neuroblastoma, and together with other like minded families, we can build a fund that can offer a life line to any child that may need it. By working together we can also provide funds for much needed research into Neuroblastoma in the hope that a cure can be found.

About Families Against Neuroblastoma (FAN)
FAN needs your support in many ways. Donations made to FAN will primarily be used to directly support our families. It will help provide the children with days out, wish experiences, and other things that are all intended to boost moral and put a smile on everyone's face. We firmly believe this can help make a positive impact on the success of the child's treatment. Unfortunately, not all our children will survive, and therefor it is vitally important that we can help pack as much fun into their short lives as we possible can, and leave the family with precious memories to cherish after they have gone.
A donation to a child's individual appeal will be held for the sole use of that child for treatment or for quality of life. These appeals often have a very high target due to the enormity of the medical expenses, and are therefor dependant on the generosity of donations from the general public. This really can mean the difference between life and death. Should the child no longer need the money raised in their name, funds will either become available to other children within the charity, moved to our emergency fund, donated to Neuroblastoma research, donated to our general fund, or a combination of all four, as agreed with the family.
