ABOUT ME .
My name is Dave cunningham i'm 45 years of age & from Sevenoaks in Kent .
For the last 5 years i have been suffering from agoraphobia , Due to this fact i have not taken regular exercise resulting in my weight increasing by a massive 8 stone , Its now time to re-address the balance & lose the weight that i have gained , The plan
is to achieve this over the next 2 years , Not only will this benefit me personally im also hoping that some good people will be kind enough to make a donation to this fantastic cause ( Help For Heroes ) along the way , Donations can be large or small , a

THE WEIGH IN JANUARY 5TH 2011 .
The weigh in was witnessed & recorded by Detective constable Zoe Judd from the City Of London Police ..
The hard work has now got to start as i topped the scales at a massive 24st 8lbs , The next 2 years are going to be hard but worth it ...
The next scheduled weigh in will be on January 31st 2011 , so don't forget to pop back & see my progress on that date ..

Weight lost this month .... 8.5 lbs
Its been a hard 3 weeks since the initial weigh in , but i have stuck with it & can now see some results , not only with the weight loss but with the agoraphobia as well as i have managed to go out for a walk every night this month ....
As i said at the start , the idea is to lose 8 stone over 2 years which translates to just over 1lb a week , so im very happy with my progress as this means that i am on target to achieve my goal ...
I would like to thank my family & friends for thier support & encouragement & also all those who have donated to this worthy cause already ...... Thank You .
About Help for Heroes
The charity Help for Heroes was launched in October 2007 in order to provide direct, practical support to those wounded, sick or injured in the line of duty since 9/11. All the funds raised to date are either allocated or spent on the direct, practical support of those wounded in the current conflicts. To date, H4H has funded a variety of projects including the £8m Rehabilitation Complex at Headley Court, a new £3.5m treatment centre for Combat Stress, adaptive adventure training through the Battle Back programme and the creation of a £6m Quick Reaction Fund to support individuals in need.
