Help for Heroes
Hello and Welcome from Ian McHenry
H4H 4X4 European Rally 2012
Thank you for visiting the fundraising page of the McHenry family. We are going to be taking part in the 2012 H4H 4x4 European Rally and would be delighted if you could help us to reach our fundraising target of £3,000 or indeed to exceed it, for Help for Heroes
We're going to be navigating our way across Europe, following the route of the Band of Brothers as featured in the television series. Just think 2 weeks, in a car, as a family! Ian driving (mostly), Claire navigating and Kieron (who will be 9) constantly asking "are we there yet?" Peace and harmony...maybe not!
Apart from the company, we are very much looking forward to the challenge. We will be learning all about our past heroes and hopefully raising as much money as we can for our present heroes.
Please help by donating what you can.
Donating through this page is simple, quick and secure. It is the most efficient way to give – so every donation goes further – and if you are a UK taxpayer and give Gift Aid consent you will boost your donation.
Thank you for your support.
About Help for Heroes
Help for Heroes offers comprehensive support to those who have suffered life-changing injuries and illnesses whilst serving our country. This is provided through grants to individuals, other Service charities, capital build projects and our four Recovery Centres across the UK, in Catterick, Colchester, Tidworth and Plymouth. These will offer support for life. The money raised by the hugely generous public has been used to support our wounded, but there is still so much more to do. Soldiers, sailors and airmen who are injured today will still need our support tomorrow and in the days that follow, for the rest of their lives. They are still battling and we won't let them battle alone.
