Hello and Welcome from Isobel's Especially For You fund
The first few months were pretty tough. (We spent all of March and April in hospital) But since then Issy has shown her fighting and stubborn character and has done amazingly well. Every hospital visit is greeted with smiles and such an easy going nature as she holds out her arm for blood pressure, gets out her wiggles (hickman line, which she has her chemo through (permanent canulla in her chest)) to be attached to a chemo for three days. She can walk around, push prams, ride on trike up and down the ward, while I run behind with her drip stand making her she stays attached to something!
Ben has also been amazing. He loves coming in to visit his sister, helps encourage her to eat and keeps her entertained (even if she doesn't want any of this, he tries) The only thing he doesn't like is that he is unable to spend the night with Issy and myself!
Throughout this journey we have received invaluable help and support from CLIC and now want to give something back, so please have a look at the various challenges we are enduring and sponsor us.
