About Pilgrim Bandits (Parkies Jump Programme)
In 2006 L/Bdr Ben Parkinson was considered to be the most seriously injured soldier to survive from injuries received in Afghanistan, but he has gone on to prove that although he was medically disabled you cannot rule out self determination as a motivator to achieving the thought unachievable.Parkie's Jump programme is a continuation of his belief that all things are possible whether disabled or not, a day where all parties are equal in conquering fears and a chance for members of the public to support Forces amputees. L/Bdr Ben Parkinson and fellow injured servicemen will Tandem jump in aid of the Pilgrimbandits Charity. We are looking for persons to join them raising sponsorship that will allow the fellow Amputees to jump for Free.
Jump Dates for this programme in 2012 are ; April 14th June 8th August 17th October 20th We raise our funds through our challenges our aim is to take members of the public into an unknown environment and Challenge themselves, find out what they are made of ? while still retaining the main quality needed a sense of humour. What ever the Challenge brings for each Challenger the one thing they may each take away with them, is the fact that they will be tested.
