Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.Our aim is simple, to raise as much money as possible for Help for Heroes.
Three of my uncles served at the same time in the Armed Forces in the Second World War in North Africa, one seriously wounded.

HELP for HEROES EUROPEAN TOUR 1st June to 5th July 2011
The Tour will take place 1st June 2011 leaving Poole Harbour for St Malo France, no motorways or toll roads will be used all driving will be driven by myself camping on route, from St Malo - La Mans - Clermont Ferrand - Millau Viaduct - Pezenas - Montpellier - Marseilles - St Tropez - Cannes - Nice - Monaco - San Remo - Genova - Como - San Bernardino Pass - St Moritz - Stelvio Pass -Fern Pass - Innsbruck - Fluela Pass - Klausen Pass - Furka Pass - Grimsel Pass - Col du Croix - Geneve - Thonon-les-Bains - Montreax - Zurich - Kniabis - Route 500 - Black Forest - Baden Baden, from here we are on the home straight but not without having al little more fun, we head for the infamous Nurburgring (Germany) for a quick blast round the 14 mile curcuit of some 172 corners, a devil of a race track.Jackie Stewart called the Nurburgring "The Green Hell" but he never had our 1954 Oval Beetle at his disposal with its outstanding tried and tested 30 bhp 1100cc aircooled engine, watch out Top Gear.
From the Nurburgring we head to Chimay (Belgium) to the European Bug-IN 4, Chimay is a well known town famous for it's Monk Beer Brewery and the legendary 80 year old racetrack. A must for all Volkswagen enthousiasts, thanks to the bug-in team for the kind free passes and a spot at the show. From the show we make our last stop at Renkum in the Netherlands to meet up with Kieft En Klok, not only are they one of the best for sourcing Vintage Volksagens but also one of our Sponsers this is where the car first set off from in September 2010 in a some what different condition and would have completed a full circle, heading back to the Euro Hub Port, for our crossing to Harwich and straight down to Leeds Caste Kent to The Peppercorn Weekend, thanks guys for free space and show.

About Help for Heroes
The charity Help for Heroes was launched in October 2007 in order to provide direct, practical support to those wounded, sick or injured in the line of duty since 9/11. All the funds raised to date are either allocated or spent on the direct, practical support of those wounded in the current conflicts. To date, H4H has funded a variety of projects including the £8m Rehabilitation Complex at Headley Court, a new £3.5m treatment centre for Combat Stress, adaptive adventure training through the Battle Back programme and the creation of a £6m Quick Reaction Fund to support individuals in need.
