Help for Heroes
Hello and Welcome from julie martin hartlepool jordon trek
H4H Jordan Trek
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
Beginning on the 6th October 2012 I will be completing a sponsored trek to ancient Petra in Jordan in the hope of raising £6,000 for Help the Heroes.
As you will be fully aware Help the Heroes supports are injured troops both inside and outside the UK and with so many wounded service men returning from conflicts around the world this charitable support is much needed not only by the service men but there families as well.
The trek will run over 9 days and 8 nights beginning at Dana and 100 km later with us arriving at the ancient Petra which is the symbolic symbol of Jordan and is famous for its rock-cut architecture and is the main tourist attraction of the country.
Donating through this page is simple, quick and secure. It is the most efficient way to give – so every donation goes further – and if you are a UK taxpayer and give Gift Aid consent you will boost your donation.
Thank you for your support.
About Help for Heroes
Help for Heroes offers comprehensive support to those who have suffered life-changing injuries and illnesses whilst serving our country. This is provided through grants to individuals, other Service charities, capital build projects and our four Recovery Centres across the UK, in Catterick, Colchester, Tidworth and Plymouth. These will offer support for life. The money raised by the hugely generous public has been used to support our wounded, but there is still so much more to do. Soldiers, sailors and airmen who are injured today will still need our support tomorrow and in the days that follow, for the rest of their lives. They are still battling and we won't let them battle alone.
