Hello and Welcome from Katharine Ganly
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
In April this year i ran my first marathon, for which this fundraising page was originally created. Since then, i have not really taken off my trainers.
As i am still running, i'm still fundraising as i go along...
Amongst other races and more leisurely jogs around the Midlands over the summer, in September i ran the Robin Hood Marathon, and in October i hobbled through the Hope Moors and Tors 20 mile fell race.
In November i will be attacking the Pembrokeshire Coast Challenge- 3 trail marathons over 3 days along the Welsh coast; -a total of over 125km in just one weekend!
To make the experience more worthwhile (and to give me some extra motivation when i feel tired!), i am keeping up the fundraising. All sponsorship i raise on and offline will be donated to Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP). MAP works in coordination with the UN and WHO and amongst other projects it helps coordinate medical aid into Gaza, where without help, many are not afforded even the most basic access to medical care.
So please show your support for me- and the charity- by giving a small donation. It will give me some extra motivation to keep going and you will also be giving to a worthy cause!

About Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP)
MAP's humanitarian work is absolutely vital at this time and it is the support of donors such as yourself that allows that work to continue. As the first international aid agency to respond to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, MAP has delivered over $500,000 worth of emergency aid in the form of drugs, medicines and hygiene kits, as well as mattresses and blankets for the displaced since 27th December.As the conflict has escalated, MAP, in conjunction with the WHO and the UN, is now playing a key role in the coordination of all medical supplies into and throughout Gaza, having set up storage depots and a team of pharmacists, emergency aid workers and logistics coordinators at the nine main hospitals.With the crisis in Gaza looking set to continue, and the long term effects to be devastating, we would like to draw your attention to a number of ways for you to raise money for MAP.
