Help for Heroes
Thank you for visiting the allabouttriathlons fundraising page.
This year Rory from allabouttriathlons cycled from Portsmouth to Paris in June 2011 in aid of Help for Heroes. The bike ride alone raised in the region of £750,000 and in the process helped the charity break the £100million mark! Donations are still being
received until the 1st August 2011.
This year's Longleg event, in aid of Help For Heroes, developed. There were the usual 5k and 10k trail runs in the mid morning. But in addition there was also the 65k and 100k sportives to cycle in the early morning. Donations are still being received until
1st August 2011.
Donating through this page is simple, quick and secure. It is the most efficient way to give – so every donation goes further – and if you are a UK taxpayer and give Gift Aid consent the charity will receive an extra 28% at no cost to you.
Thank you for your support.
About Help for Heroes
Help for Heroes offers comprehensive support to those who have suffered life-changing injuries and illnesses whilst serving our country. This is provided through grants to individuals, other Service charities, capital build projects and our four Recovery Centres across the UK, in Catterick, Colchester, Tidworth and Plymouth. These will offer support for life. The money raised by the hugely generous public has been used to support our wounded, but there is still so much more to do. Soldiers, sailors and airmen who are injured today will still need our support tomorrow and in the days that follow, for the rest of their lives. They are still battling and we won't let them battle alone.
