Hello and Welcome from Owen Uttley
Owen is doing really well after his Wilms tumour diagnosis in July 2007. He still has regular check-ups but so far everything has been fine. The Bristol Royal Childrens Hospital was amazing and Owen was lucky to have great nurses, a fantastic surgeon and Anthony his Oncologist. Owen was able to go back to school even before he finished his treatment thanks to the CLIC Sargent nurses coming out to see us once a week. Thank you to everyone who has helped and supported us as a family.
Owen's type of cancer is very treatable and his treatment was short but many of the friends that we have made in hospital have not been as lucky and without the help that CLIC Sargent provides life would be even tougher.
