Scott Centenary Sledge Pull
Hello and Welcome from THE PIRAN PIRATES
Scott Scholarships Sledge Pull
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.
We are six Cornish friends. starting our A levels this September at three local schools. we all share a sense of adventure and enjoy a challenge. Inspired by Scott's endeavours we've decided to participate in this national event to celebrate the centenary of
his Antarctic expedition. we will be running with our sleds for almost ten miles between Polbathic in SE Cornwall, crossing the Tamar via the Torpoint ferry, and ending at the Scott Memorial at Mount Wise on Plymouth Sound. The money we hope to raise will
be donated in part to the RNLI, Shelterbox and Devon Air ambulance, as well as providing funding for educational expedition scholarships and polar research.
Donating through this page is simple, quick and secure. It is the most efficient way to give – so every donation goes further – and if you are a UK taxpayer and give Gift Aid consent you will boost your donation.
Thank you for your support,
Tom, Oli, Ed,Adam, Frazer and Oli.
