Help for Heroes (Big Battlefie ...
Hello and Welcome from Peter Bryant
Big Battlefield Bike Ride 2014
So, for the third year running, I am undertaking the Help for Heroes Big Battlefield Bike Ride – this time about 340 miles from Brussels to Paris through the battlefields in Northern France and Belgium; then a leisurely 10 miles in London for the Hero Ride 2014 afterwards!
I believe that H4H deserves our wholehearted support as our injured servicemen and women need every bit of help we can give them, they do a job I (and many others) simply could not do.
Clearly, despite my personal athletic history and appearances (!), the cycling and H4H bugs have bitten hard. To date you have helped me raise just over £10,000 in the past couple of years, and I should be very grateful if you would consider sponsoring me. As before every penny will you donate will be going directly to Help For Heroes to support our returning servicemen and women who have been injured on duty – as my wife and I are covering the event costs.
Donating here is simple, quick, secure and efficient. If you are a UK taxpayer please tick the box for Gift Aid consent as this will boost your donation by 25%!
If you want to make a quick donation of (say) £10 by mobile phone, then just text the following to "BBBR 83 £10" to 70070, you can replace the 10 with 1,2,3,4 or 5. You can donate up to three times a day. Please note that when you donate on this form bmycharity will ask for your email and postal addresses. Please be assured that this information is not available to me, your details are held confidentially by the charity for payment and Gift Aid recovery purposes only!
Many thanks for reading this far, and if you do sponsor me, thank you so much for your support.
About Help for Heroes (Big Battlefield Bike Ride 2014)
Our signature challenge returns for its 7th year with another fantastic new bike challenge from Brussels to Paris. To mark the Centenary anniversary of the start of World War 1, our route will follow much of the Western Front. As we ride alongside the wounded, we will remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice then and still do today.
After we arrive in Paris we will be transported back to London to unite with other rides for the grand finale from Blackheath into London.
