Help for Heroes
Hello and Welcome from Peter Bryant
Big Battlefield Bike Ride 2013
You've found me!!So, I am undertaking the Help for Heroes Big Battlefield Bike Ride - 350 miles from Paris to London in 1 week through the WWI and WWII battlefields in Northern France.H4H deserves our wholehearted support as our injured servicemen and women need every bit of help we can give them, they do a job I could not do Those who know me will probably be surprised that I am doing this again, I expected 2012 to be a one off, but the cycling and H4H bug has bitten.I should be very grateful if you would consider sponsoring me. Every penny will be going directly to Help For Heroes to support our returning servicemen and women who have been injured on duty - as my wife and I are covering the event setup costs.I intend to blog some of my experiences here in amongst my moans and groans about life and work. I intend to be more positive!Donating here is simple, quick, secure and efficient. If you are a UK taxpayer please, please, please tick the box for Gift Aid consent as this will boost your donation by 25%!If you want to make a quick donation of £10 by mobile phone, then just text the following to "BBBR 83 £10" to 70070, you can replace the 10 with 1,2,3,4 or 5. About Help for Heroes
Help for Heroes offers comprehensive support to those who have suffered life-changing injuries and illnesses whilst serving our country. This is provided through grants to individuals, other Service charities, capital build projects and our four Recovery Centres across the UK, in Catterick, Colchester, Tidworth and Plymouth. These will offer support for life. The money raised by the hugely generous public has been used to support our wounded, but there is still so much more to do. Soldiers, sailors and airmen who are injured today will still need our support tomorrow and in the days that follow, for the rest of their lives. They are still battling and we won't let them battle alone.
