Polraen 'Help for Heroes' Fundraiser

Hello and Welcome from Polraen 'Help for Heroes' Fundraiser

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Here in the Looe Valley in Cornwall, we are holding a HELP FOR HEROES fundraising event at Polraen Country House on Friday 7th December 7 - 11 pm (for tickets, see below).

  • Gourmet Bangers and Mash
  • 1940's crooner Andy Marshall singing live
  • Prize Draw and charity raffle
Our 'Crooning for Christmas' event is designed with the intention of fostering a community spirit, but we like to put our efforts to a worthy cause at the same time. Last year we raised more than £440 for Help for Heroes at a similar event but would love to exceed that sum. If you want to buy a ticket (£12 per person) call 01503 263956. If you can't come, we hope you'll support us in advance by supplying a prize for our raffle and/or donating here online.

Donating through this page is simple, quick and secure. It is the most efficient way to give – so every donation goes further – and if you are a UK taxpayer and give Gift Aid consent you will boost your donation.

Thank you for your support.

About Help for Heroes

What is H4H all about? It's about the blokes, our men and women of the Armed Forces. It's about Derek, a rugby player who has lost both his legs, it about Carl whose jaw is wired up so he has been drinking through a straw. It's about Richard who was handed a mobile phone as he lay on the stretcher so he could say goodbye to his wife. It's about Ben, it's about Steven and Andy and Mark, it's about them all. They are just blokes but they are our blokes; they are our heroes. We want to help our heroes.

Please note, this Bmycharity website will soon be closing. Help for Heroes can no longer create new fundraising pages (however, donations to existing pages are still accepted). If you would like to create a fundraising page in support of H4H, please visit

If you have any questions at all, or want to talk through the transition process, please contact Bmycharity on 01980 846459 or
