About Cycle to Cannes
Cycle to Cannes is a grant making charity. Each year we support a number of charities and this year we want to make grants of £250,000. This year two thirds of the money raised will go towards the work of Coram, with Article 25, Tom’s Trust, the MSA Trust and the Emthonjeni Trust receiving smaller grants.
As the UK’s first ever children’s charity, Coram has achieved a lot since 1739, but we want to help them continue that success. We want money raised to change the lives of over 10,000 children throughout the UK in the coming year. Funding will be split between their Adoption and Life Education services. We want to give; 10 children in care the chance of a permanent adoptive home by finding, training and preparing sets of parents to adopt them; 30 children placed with adoptive parents guaranteed support they need from Coram, whenever they need it, for the whole of their lives; 10,000 children the chance to increase their health and fitness, as well as their resilience to drugs, alcohol and tobacco, by accessing Coram Life Education. The remaining money will be split between Article 25, The Multiple System Atrophy Trust, Tom's Trust and The Emthonjeni Trust.
