Help for Heroes
Hello and Welcome from Strategic
RACE AROUND IRELAND 2013 Winners! Thanks for your support!!!WE DID IT!!! Winners of RAAM and WORLD RECORD HOLDERS!!!! In 5 days, 3 hours and 45 minutes our boys crossed the finish line in Annapolis MA. and once again swung the spotlight onto our fundraising efforts. Team Allied Forces (Team Strategic Lions & Team 4Mil) beat last year’s record of 5 days, 5 hours and 5 minutes set by Team ViaSat and proved that once again, we are up for the challenge. Thanks to all who continue to support us through your donations and sharing of our team’s outstanding achievements…Keep it up!!! 3RD PLACE and a 400 EURO prize for our riders as they completed Race Around Slovenia…The 1,182km course, slightly extended this year due to roadworks was a decent pull for our boys but we were confident they had the skills to pull in a title and they DID IT! Here we go with the HERO RIDE…. Pledge your support now by clicking “DONATE NOW”. On the 28th May, we departed from Edinburgh to ride an average of 70 miles per day over five days to meet the 1000+ cyclists in Blackheath for the Hero Ride, the first and largest event of it’s kind. Able bodied riders joined injured service personnel to cycle along the Mall and demonstrate the might of the Great British public that support H4H. The year has already kicked off with a number of time trials and national events, all represented by our team of riders, who are achieving great results and times. Please keep in touch with our successes on our website www.strategiclions.com and thank you for your support.
About Help for Heroes
Help for Heroes offers comprehensive support to those who have suffered life-changing injuries and illnesses whilst serving our country. This is provided through grants to individuals, other Service charities, capital build projects and our four Recovery Centres across the UK, in Catterick, Colchester, Tidworth and Plymouth. These will offer support for life. The money raised by the hugely generous public has been used to support our wounded, but there is still so much more to do. Soldiers, sailors and airmen who are injured today will still need our support tomorrow and in the days that follow, for the rest of their lives. They are still battling and we won't let them battle alone.
